The lateral gutters and facets of S1, L5 and L4 were decorticated with a burr. Allogran-R and autograft was laid over the decorticated surfaces. Pedicle screws were inserted, and rods were then contoured and applied. The site was then closed.

The patient demonstrated good movement.
Figures 5 & 6 - Post operative x-rays
At two months follow-up, the x-rays indicated early fusion in the lateral gutters.
The patient reported very little pain and was pleased with the outcome.
