A 47-year-old female presented with a comminuted calcaneal fracture of the right foot, following a fall from 2 m.
The fracture was reduced using a calcaneal AO plate, in conjunction with genex.
At 2 weeks follow-up, the fracture site appeared stable. The patient was allowed to full weight-bearing at 3 months post-operative, with radiographic examination indicating satisfactory healing at the fracture site, with partial absorption of the genex graft material.
