Use of genex in the treatment of tibial plateau fracture

Clinical particulars

Tibial plateau fracture with dual condyle injury. This is a Schatzker class V injury and typically very unstable.

 

Treatment

genex paste was placed in the defect.

 

Outcome

At 3 months, partial absorption of genex.

At 12 months, healing looks good with solid bone union and alignment is well maintained. Plates have been removed. Complete absorption of genex.
