This study analyses the clinical follow-up results of 15 patients with fibrous union or nonunion of the scaphoid with minimal sclerosis, treated with arthroscopically assisted percutaneous internal fixation augmented by the injection of genex. Results showed 14 of 15 patients (93.5%) achieved successful bony union in a mean of 15.4 weeks. The mayo modified wrist score indicated 10 patients had excellent and 4 had good wrist function. There were no cases of infections, and no implant loosening or breakage among the patients. The abstract can be read, and the full paper can be obtained here
